My grandfather DesRoches who served in Europe during WWII or my granddad Leon, who served in North Africa during WWII and the Korean War. To many of my aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who served today.

It should remind us that many gay men and women gave their lives serving in the military, and continue to do so.
