It appears that another straight hypocrite has gotten caught with his pants down. Anti-gay pastor Donnie has stepped down, after being exposed for “grievous sins.” Ordained in August 2015 as a pastor for the Stedfast Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, he was known to be notoriously anti-gay.
He previously said: ‘I’m not going to let any of these dirty faggots inside my church. They are all pedophiles… They’re always trying to rape and hurt other people. They’re relentless.
‘They are predators and given an opportunity to snatch one of your children, they would do it in a heartbeat,’ he said.
Romero then later revealed he was praying that survivors of the shooting at gay club Pulse in Orlando would all die.
‘These 50 sodomites are all perverts and pedophiles, and they are the scum of the earth,’ he said. ‘The earth is a little bit better place now.
‘I’ll pray that God will finish the job that that man started, and he will end their life, and by tomorrow morning they will all be burning in hell,’ he said.
Well, it seems Mr. goodie two shoes had something to hide.
In a sermon on Wednesday night (2 January), he announced he was stepping down as pastor, but did not reveal exactly why.
‘I’m stepping down as the pastor of Stedfast Baptist Church,’ Donnie Romero said, through tears. ‘I haven’t been ruling my house well. I’ve been a terrible husband and father.
‘I’m very sorry for the hurt this may cause people. I’m so sorry, I love you guys,’ Romero said.
Now fellow pastor Steven Anderson – who actually ordained him – posted a video explaining the details of Romero’s “grievous sins.”
‘I’ve got some really bad news,’ he said in the video. ‘Unfortunately, pastor Donnie Romero has stepped down.
‘This is devastating for people and people are heartbroken about it,’ he said.
Anderson said he didn’t want to humiliate Romero’s wife and kids by going into too much detail so he kept it brief.
‘Basically, the major sin involved was being with prostitutes,’ he said. ‘Then there were also marijuana and gambling.’
The church is seeking a new pastor, they’re just not sure how. Maybe they should check the personals?
