As a culture, we can be quick to judge someone without really knowing the complete story. Last week a friend forwarded an article to me to read; at first I wasn't sure why I was reading this article. However, it was apparent that this man’s journey in the gay adult industry seemed short lived. Most of the article’s I could get a hold of focused on three tattoos, a comment made, and his arrest on drug charges.
I have learned over time there is more to a story than what's written in some publications. I am curious how this young man with a promising career went "downhill" so fast. What is his story and most importantly what happened?
Cameron Diggs didn't just fall into porn, nor was he looking for the chance to become involved in the industry. Instead, he started dancing at local clubs in the Dallas area. Cameron admitted it was the need for money and this was a good way earn some. Now Cameron is by all accounts and confirms that he is bisexual. That sex with either sex is enjoyable; he just prefers women over men. There have been reports that he is a gay-for-pay porn actor, and he states that "this was because until I did gay porn, I had never been with a man, a transsexual once, but that was it." He doesn't understand why his "sexual preference would become or be an issue since he's not the only guy doing gay porn that might be "straight."
I have to question the reason why some people might be so concerned about his sexuality. I mean how many gay porn actors are straight, and let's be honest their sexual preference isn't why we watch a gay porn scene.
Of course, I had to ask the question about three tattoos that have for some reason become a major concern. Cameron has an Iron Cross symbol on the upper right and left of his chest and SS lightning bolts on his right hip. Now before I go any further, let me just say this I had to look and then have someone point them out to me. With that said, did anyone just sit down and ask him the reasons? Or, did certain people just assume they knew the answer? First, let me say that there have been several gay porn films made using the Nazi/ Skinhead themes, do we judge them? Is there a difference? Don't say it's because their actors, and were just acting, I'm calling bullshit on that, what makes these films less offensive?
"I do respect everyone, regardless of color. I really look past a persons race, religion, or creed. It was never my intention to disrespect anyone, especially my fans. I know my behavior and actions would cause people to form a opinion about me, but like everyone I have made mistakes, and I continue to grow and learn from them."
Now I'm not making any excuses for racism, or racist behavior but just trying to see the difference. I asked Cameron directly the meaning of the tattoos, and he stated: "those tattoos I got while serving four years." He explained that when you go to prison, you have to choose sides and that prison is very racist and segregated whites with whites, blacks with blacks. To survive, you have to do things that normally you wouldn't do; he states "I had to prove myself. Therefore, I got into a fight and proved I was strong and not weak". The tattoos were placed there showing he had prison bravery and won a battle. He admits that he regrets the tattoos and they don't describe him as a person. He's very firm that he is not a racist, nor does he judge anyone based on religion, sexual preference, or skin color. It's not who he is, and those that know him understand who he is and what he believes in. I then asked about a comment that was reported in Str8UpPorn last summer in which he stated: "when it comes to having kids, I prefer to stay in my race." He explained that as a child and teenager his grandparents had adamant feelings about interracial children, it was their point of view, and it remains instilled in him even now. Does one comment make a person a racist? For me, it's' their actions, and from what I can tell there doesn't seem to be any indication that he supports any neo-Nazi/ white supremacy group(s), or aside from this one comment has not made any racist remarks. How many times have you gone onto Grindr, adam4adam, manhunt and found profiles with white/black only? You could argue that it's racist, or in most cases, you say "it's my preference." Either way, in my opinion, you have to look at all aspects of a person's behavior before labeling someone a racist.
Cameron does have a "bad boy" image (ok the tattoos are hot to me), one that he says comes naturally to him, and he has allowed that image to become too entwined with him as a person. Which he freely admits has created problems and misconceptions about who he is. Over the past seven years, he has dealt with a meth addiction; and this past February Cameron was arrested in Oak Lawn a suburb of Dallas. He stated, "this was a low point, I kept thinking that I was going to lose everything." I am not going to go further into this aspect of his life, and only because it is an open investigation.
Then Sketch Sex, a bareback site comes out with some promo video implying that Cameron was going to be seen doing a bareback scene. I asked Cameron to explain this, and he stated: "I was going to do the film because they offered me a substantial amount of money. However, my test results didn't come back in time, and therefore I was a stand in". Are you going to judge him now because he thought of doing a bb scene? As if he was the first to do this, guess what he's not (the list could be quite long).
We have all made mistakes some are more serious than other, but who are we sit and judge someone's life and actions. Do they directly affect you? Have his tattoos directly impacted your life? Did a stupid comment somehow derailed your life? I suppose if he were still fucking in gay porn you wouldn't care.
I have to admit I found my conversation with Cameron very open and direct. I've been doing this for a while, and it appeared to be sincere and genuine. I do wish him the very best of luck on his journey we call life When asked if he would ever like to return to gay porn Cameron stated "yes, I would like to. I miss my fans, performing, and dancing".

To understand someone, you must listen with an open mind about what they’ve gone through in life, what makes them who they are and the path they have chosen. I don’t believe anyone just wakes up one morning and says, “I’m going to do porn”. Of course, I could be wrong, but it’s unlikely. But I do wonder what drives someone to succeed in the porn industry? I mean it’s a cut-throat industry, where you ride a high for a few years then you’re considered old news. Why? Because someone younger and new has come along, and before you know it you’ve been replaced.
To be honest, I didn’t know that DJ Dominic Pacifico was even in porn, I had only known him as a DJ, and a damn good one at that. So, you can imagine my surprise when I Googled him and there it was several results for pornhub, xvideos, mansuger, and redtube. It was apparent that not only was he a porn star but a well-established DJ. I began to wonder how does one cross over from porn to DJ’ing and do them both very successfully.
Dominic started doing porn in 1998 in San Francisco, after leaving Key West with his boyfriend at the time. After being dumped he found himself needing money and a place to stay. He would be discovered by Brian Mills who introduced him to still pornography (X-rated pictures). As an 18-year old he had the twink look that everyone craved. This allowed him to make anywhere between $500.00 to $1,000.00, and thus started his path into porn. He stated, “I didn’t realize that I was doing porn, it was art”. At 22 he would do his first feature film for Raging Stallion and would be mentored by Michael Brandon. Dominic learned the ropes so to speak, always understanding that his fans were the most important aspect of his porn career.
I do have an opinion about politics, and world events. For those who think I don’t give a shit, I do. It can be hard for me not to say anything. DJ Dominic Pacifcio
He has been in the industry for 19 years, and for anyone to last that long is an achievement. I asked him how he did this, he explained that it’s all about branding, staying focused, having something to sell, and being in the right place at the right time. One of the important aspects of the porn for Dominic is having the adaptive ability to change with the times.
What’s it like being called a Daddy now? He smiled and said “I love it. All these young men come at me all of the time, and it’s flattering”. I got the feeling that he has embraced the so call daddy porn. As “daddies” are become more in demand, and the younger generation seeks more of this genre, Dominic has once again reinvented himself to adapt to the need and demand. “Hell, I don’t mind, it’s crazy that I’m given a 2nd chance to reinvent myself”, he stated.
I wondered how he went from porn to DJ’ing. DJ’ing didn’t come easy for him, he admits that being in porn created road blocks, since he wasn’t really taken seriously by the more established DJ’s. But somehow, he has managed to merge the two. I think this comes from his determination to be himself and to prove that he is more than just a porn actor. Since his first DJ’ing gig at the Castro Street Fair in 1998, he has come a long way. Now playing around the United States and the World. He is influenced by Brazilian house, early 90’s and seth pop. I asked him how does he know that what he’s playing is being well received he stated, “I try to understand the age demographic, venue, and style of the people”. Either way, I find his music intriguing, interesting, powerful, and well mixed.
Regardless of what you think about DJ Dominic, I found him fascinating and quite intelligent. He has proven to be a smart businessman and inventive with regards to both his porn and DJ careers. For example, in two weeks Dominic Entertainment will release self-molds of Dominic Pacifico Signature molds to be sold worldwide, along with signature self-molds of Casey Everett, Brandon Jones, and Pierce Paris. It’s another expansion of his business and brings to his fan what they want. The ability to adapt.
It is easy to pass judgment on someone that you don’t understand or even know. He said something that really had an impact on me. He stated, “you know you’re at a bar, and the quiet man sitting alone tells you hello, that’s your true fan.” To be humble and sincere is quite unique, and I must say I enjoyed my time with him.

My fascination with Dj's is something new these days. I find it intriguing and interesting to interview DJ's. I came across DJ Dan Slater when I noticed that he would be performing at Oz New Orleans this Halloween. As with most stories I write it starts with basic curiosity.
He started his career by performing in musical theater throughout Australia. Needing a new challenge, he attended university and studied Business in Marketing, but it was his desire to be creative that lead him to learn what he could about being a DJ. "I never expected things to take off like this." In the world of DJ'ing, he is relatively new but has managed to make a name for himself. First starting in Sydney for Mardi Gras he has quickly become one of the best and most sought out DJ's. Performing at venues around he has worked at The Week (Brazil), We Word Pride Festival (Madrid) and Winter Party Festival (Miami). With regards to production, he admits that having his remix "I Walk Alone" by Cher which peaked at number 2 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs and thus inspired him to work on remixes and his own original tracks.
There is no doubt that staying true to one's sound, while remaining current is always a challenge and he freely admits that this can be hard. With those challenges comes the reward of producing your own music and used for a live performance is quite special to him.
I’ve been lucky enough to play at numerous clubs and events around the world and every experience is very different. In some countries electronic music and events are still relatively new, so the events may be smaller or more intimate. But the crowds are still so enthusiastic and the energy is great. DJ Dan Slater
It appears that DJ Slater likes getting the crowd involved which becomes a mix of their favorites, music he personally likes and enjoys hearing. He knows that he must be able to read the audience and the vibe of the crowd is just as important, he stated: "you have to be able to change the direction of your set to build a better energy. It's a balance of old and new tracks, keeping your sound and set fresh."
He truly believes that clubs have and will remain a great place of the discovery and appreciation of electronic music because you can see a live DJ performance, feel the music and is very different than to listen to a track or podcast. As the music is important so is the space it is performed at, there must be a relationship between the music and space, or it's just not going to work according to DJ Slater. He clearly knows that music is universal, and appreciates the differences and styles played around the world. For example, the United States and Asia has a more tribal house style, whereas Europe has a tech house or house music sound.
In closing, he wanted to say that "I’ve been lucky enough to play at numerous clubs and events around the world and every experience is very different. In some countries electronic music and events are still relatively new, so the events may be smaller or more intimate. But the crowds are still so enthusiastic and the energy is great. I think you just need to approach each gig with an open mind, and playing in different countries has exposed me to different sounds that can influence my set as well."
DJ Dan Slater will be performing at Oz New Orleans this Halloween Friday, October 20, 2017 starting at 12:00 AM. I've listened to some of his music and I must admit I'm quite impressed. Check out his music on SoundCloud.
Two DJ that Mr. Slater recommends that he feels deserve some attention:

How does a young man from conservative Memphis go from working at A & F, and attending college suddenly become a popular and in demand porn star? JJ would start his porn career in Memphis. Recruited by Jason Sparks he would do his first scene in a hotel room. I’m not going to speculate about that room. “It was a little nerve-racking at first, I was afraid that my family and friends would find out. But what the hell I can have sex with hot men and get paid”.
His first scene would be for Falcon Studios’ in October 2015 and shot in Palm Springs (Heated). It’s hard to believe that he's only been in the industry for two years; since then he has managed to learn the “ropes”; comfortable performing while people are watching, developing an established name, and the understanding that even if you’re not attracted to your co-star you still must perform. “I might have to “juice” myself up” he states. Establishing a name for yourself is important as he explains, you might get asked who you want to work with, however, that’s not always the case. If you go into a scene with someone you’re not typically attracted to you must complete the scene, it’s what I’m getting paid to do. To be always professional, regardless of the scene or scene partner.
Every porn actor must understand and know that there will come a day when they're no longer in demand. So, I asked JJ his thoughts, “of course I’m afraid that one day I’ll no longer be in demand. So, you can either make the decision to leave or someone will do it for you”. There are just a few porn actors that have remained in the industry for a long period of time and remain successful. Explaining that he doesn’t expect this to be long term, but would like to work behind the camera producing movies. Like most in the porn industry, he has learned the value of self-promotion using social media. Social Media has truly become one of the most important aspects of promoting not only his name but scenes or movies.
I want people to know that they can approach me, to say hi. Some people might think I'm a asshole, in truth I'm not. JJ Knight
For every porn actor, public appearances and dancing can be tricky. So, they must learn that it's a balancing act. JJ fully knows that he is there for the fans. There are times some will go a little far with touching, but it's part of the business. "I completely understand that people are going to touch me, especially in the area I'm known for " (depending on what you like, there could be a lot to touch, just saying). He appears completely at ease with this aspect of his life. He does admit that sometimes it's hard to go out. Fans or people in general what a picture and you just don't want to do it. That many don't comprehend that even porn actors have a personal life and that what you see on film isn't a true depiction of their personal life.
When it comes to his personal life including, dating, and relationships JJ stated that it has been hard to date outside of the industry and simply impossible. The guys he wanted to date were either dancers or models but didn't want to date him because he was in porn. He has found that most of his friends are in the industry, maybe because they understand how it works, and know that it's a job. I would imagine it would be hard; I mean here's your boyfriend working 12-16-hour days sucking, getting fucked or fucking someone perceived as hot. I can only imagine that the industry might take a toll on personal relationships.
JJ is currently engaged to Brent Corrigan. JJ considers this his first serious long-term relationship. While in Australia promoting a new movie, he would ask (and had the ring for a while), however, Brent was hesitant at first since he had been engaged before but said no and it would be several months later that Brent would say yes. JJ contributes this to their getting to know one another, and this allowed JJ and Brent to grow closer. It's apparent that the two are devoted and committed to their relationship and love each other.
I can say that I found JJ Knight to be relaxed and laid back during the interview. Willing to be open about his life and career, candid, realistic about the ups and downs of the porn industry, remaining focused on his career, and the balancing act between his personal and professional life.

Every porn star has their own story to tell and every one of them has different experiences. Depending on your genre, you’ll find one that takes your fancy.
Adam Russo is an experienced and varied individual, who has mastered the ability to move from sex scene with condoms, bareback, gay or straight, too easy or rough. It’s clear he hates limits and will stretch the boundaries when necessary.
He finds many types of men attractive within the industry, and for him, that’s a good thing since most of the time he doesn’t know who he will do a scene with. Personally, he has always had an attraction to Latin, black or Mediterranean men.
Porn actors get involved in porn for a variety of reasons, for Adam, it was because the economy took a downturn and he started escorting. Wanting to increase his exposure he did porn with Titan Men. When asked how he has become so successful in the industry, he stated: “It comes down to determination, being comfortable in front of a camera, and the people watching, and “every scene is different you have to handle the stress, it might be about chemistry or an actor isn’t working out. Regardless you have to be pro and deal with it.’
He also understands that porn is nothing like what you see at home. He has taken the time to learn the “behind the scene” aspects of porn; camera angles, knowing where the camera(s) are, the lighting, moving positions so the director doesn’t have to stop to “change angles.” For example, he stated “If they’re moving the lighting it usually means they’re moving it to a particular spot to highlight a body part,” and “I want to be easy to work with and never have anyone say “he was hard to work with.”
Adam Russo is the ultimate daddy too many, and he has no problem being called a daddy, “I love it when someone calls me daddy or sir, it really gets me excited, and being a daddy represents authority and respect and I like that.”
When asked about what he likes to do in his free time, he stated that he enjoys going to the gym (we see it’s worked), traveling, meeting new people and he admits he loves good food. He also has a passion for the theatre, art galleries and spending time with his husband.
Regardless of your preference Adam strives for an artistic impression in his work. He works hard to make his fans feel comfortable around him and always tries to make time to speak with them. He is truly a “down-to-earth” man and knows who he is and where he comes from. He doesn’t apologize for the mistakes he’s made, and considers life a journey, “you have control over your life, don’t let others tell you can’t do something and if you want it then it’s worth the effort,” he stated.
Well, another check mark off my bucket list, I’ll just lust and drool over Adam Russo from afar, he’s worth it! You can follow Adam on Twitter at: AdamRussoxxx
Utah, I mean what do you think when someone mentions the state of Utah. I doubt It’s Alex Mecum, but let me assure that he is from the great state of Utah. Alex has only been on the gay porn scene for a few years but has made an impact.
Having grown up in Utah Alex understands that there is a stigma that porn actors are dirty people with no souls or aspirations. His journey is quite exciting and nothing like what you might think.
He came out as gay (sort of), at the age of 18, during his rebellious period, however, he admits that he remained conflicted until about 23. He explained that it was hard to understand what was happening in his life.
It was while on a religious mission that he finally came to terms with himself. It was during this time that he began to ask questions, but it came down to one question, am I gay?
“You have to understand that we’re taught that one will have no true happiness with the gay lifestyle,” Alex stated.
He openly talks about his “coming out” to his parents and siblings. He told his brother’s and sister first, but “I was scared to tell my mom,” he states. “Our relationship was strained for about two years, but we have made progress,” Alex explained that his coming out was a relief and he was able to live his own life finally.
In 2012, he attended Gay Pride in NYC that he finally understood that he was “normal,” and began to celebrate life.
So how did his porn career, I always ask “you didn’t just wake up and decide to do porn?” Therefore, I always find this an interesting aspect of their story. Alex would return to Utah in 2015 there he maintained two jobs and at the same time conducting research. But after losing his positions at the university and in need of money he did his first scene for Sean Cody with then-boyfriend.
“I’m an exhibitionist,” so he did his first solo scene, which he didn’t appear to have any issue doing. When asked about doing porn, he says “it’s just sex, it’s easy to do, and I get paid to do it.”
His significant major scene was for Falcon Studios with Kyle Cash and said that he was insecure and nervous about performing. “it was hard keeping my concentration when you have the director giving instructions.”
When asked how he overcame being nervous and insecure performing in front of people he explained that he has to tune out everyone on the set, and focus on his scene partner. “before working with someone, I look for something in common with them and talking for a while helps,” he said.
It is no secret that Alex has done a few scenes bareback, we had to ask about his point-of-view. “You have to promote healthy sex practices in both your professional and personal life,” he said. It comes to personal responsibility, Alex understands that some people believe that doing bareback scenes promotes unsafe sex, he also knows that it’s about being responsible for your health.
“People fail to realize that you’re a person and it’s also easy to look at you as an object and not a person,” he stated. While he might get paid to “have sex,” he truly looks at this as a job, and nothing more. He professionally approaches every job, respecting his scene partner and himself. “it’s about chemistry, and if there is none, which happens, you have a job to do.”
It might surprise people to know that Alex and his husband are quite active in supporting LGBTQ people around the world. Currently they have a website to support and raise money for the Rainbow Railroad. An organization that is dedicated to helping LGBTQ person escape persecution in countries where they are targets of violence.
Asked about his future, he says “porn has to be an outlet, sort of a hobby and it cannot define me.” He currently lives in Canada with his husband, Carter Dane.

If you know anything about the gay porn industry you know that minorities are highly underrepresented in the industry. For example, you don’t see many Asians in mainstream porn nor are they promoted like most Caucasian porn actors are.
However, every once in a while, there comes someone that catches your eye, and Yoshi Kawasaki is certainly making his mark in the gay porn industry by doing it his way.
Born in a small village in central Japan Yoshi grew up in a traditional conservative family where everyone knew your business. Like most Japanese children he was raised with the strict belief that you never disappointed your parents. He has always known he was gay but realized that he would never be able to tell his parents and has only opened up to a few friends at home.
Growing up with the internet he was no stranger to porn, and said: “I always wanted to do porn and I think porn is amazing.” Yoshi says that he is completely submissive in bed and prefers to do scenes where he is submissive. But stresses that being submissive does not mean being degraded and “I’m only submissive when having sex and not outside of that,” He stated.
Yoshi isn’t a stranger to trying something new, freely admitting to loving public sex, and he isn’t afraid to show his body (it’s worth looking at).
But never mistake his open attitude about sex as being reckless. He believes that people should be proactive, and responsible for their personal health. Meaning individuals have to take precautions against HIV and SDI’s.
When asked if he would work in the United States; he stated that he would love to. However, he does know that gay Asian men are “void” in the U.S. gay porn market. But he also understands that the gay studios understand the market and will always direct their production to current market demands.
Regardless, Yoshi Kawasaki is slowing finding his way through the European gay porn market. By being smart and precise about his profession, having no false illusions about the business and knowing who he is as a person.
Well we wish him luck!

If you’ve been around you understand that some people are born to be the life of the party and Lady Bunny is certainly one of them. “I kind of lived in drag as a child. You know, long hair was in for men and I lived in the South, so I would often wear T-shirts so long they covered the bottom of my shorts. I invented the T-shirt dress!”
“I was always involved in theater and just could not pry myself away from the makeup table.” Ms. Bunny was born in Chattanooga, TN and believe it or not she perfected her makeup talents in her mother’s kitchen. For example, she made eyeshadow out of baking soda and food coloring.
But it was her flair for outlandish makeup, hair, and character that landed her a job at the legendary Pyramid Club in New York City. She has performed just about everywhere including the Eiffel Tower and is the founder of Wigstock, the drag/music festival in Manhattan.
When asked about drag she said; “drag is proportion. You don’t want to see a drag queen in a diminutive Laura Ashley print. You don’t want to see us in an earring that’s dainty.” Furthermore,” A huge head of hair with several wigs [sewn] together is going to make your shoulder appear smaller.”
What make’s Lady Bunny so funny to me is her ability to never take herself seriously. Her style of drag is unique to her and involves lip-synching to versions of popular songs, and she has recorded her own vocal parodies. But make no mistake her lyrics are sexually explicit. For example, she did a parody of Gwen Stefani’s song Hollaback Girl with the lyric: “I shit a banana/a banana in my ass!” She also has several video parodies of “Santa Claus is coming to town” and California Gurls.”
Lady Bunny has stood the test of time in my opinion, always being herself and never compromising herself. She admits that she is twisted, has a dirty mind, is fat, vulgar and has no problem admitting it.
Lady Bunny will be performing in New Orleans Monday, December 17 at the Always Lounge & Cabaret in her show “The Stocking were Hung!”. For more information and tickets.

One thing that comes along with Southern Decadence is the hot performers (dancers) and Bennett Anthony is no exception. At least in my opinion.
I always find it interesting to interview porn stars because you get a chance to hear about their lives and on the surface, most think their lives are fun and glamorous. But as I’ve written before most never appreciate the hard work that goes into their profession.
Bennett Anthony grew up in Conway, South Carolina, a small conservative town located in the Southeast portion of the state. Bennett says he really didn’t have any issues being gay in high school even though he was out. He portrayed himself as hyper-masculine, playing sports and shying away from his feminine side, however, he did manage to date his high school gym coach.
His journey to becoming a porn star is interesting. After being contacted through Scruff to do an underwear photoshoot at Gay Day’s (Disney), he decided at that time he was going to fuck a porn star, put it out there and become “famous” and move to California. This was his way to get out of South Carolina.
Anthony admits that he’s never found the work hard, in fact, he says it quite easy. “I get to fuck a guy for 8 hours and get paid $2,000.00 for doing it, what is there to complain about?” He said. He recalls his first scene, which was done with Johnny Rapid as easy and laid back, and looking at the scene we can see why. While he will top or bottom, he has been cast mostly as a top, which he doesn’t mind and does both bareback and safe sex scenes. “A huge turn off for me are people who complain about everything, and I’m here just to do a job, so let’s do it,” he says.
With regards to his personal life, he understands that is can be a challenge to have someone who is not in the business, but he believes that if there is complete honesty and openness you can make the relationship healthy. “We talk about everything and don’t have unrealistic expectations about who we are,” Anthony stated.
Recently he moved back to Charleston, South Carolina to reground himself. He admits that he lost himself getting caught up in the club scene and letting his guard down. So going home was a way to “re-find” himself, and it appears that he has. So moving back to California is an option, but this time he's more grounded and secure.
Regardless of what he does I get the feeling that he will succeed. You can catch Bennett at The Phoenix Bar during Southern Decadence and especially at the XXL Party.

It’s not often that you come across someone who right in the middle of his life changes careers and in such an extreme way. Dallas Steel managed to move from being a TV news anchor/reporter to becoming a major porn star and escorting. He has managed to move from TV to porn and you could credit the seamless transition by understanding how he thinks.
He admits that he has always been a show-off and has always been comfortable with showing off his body and exploring his sexual side. “It’s really about being who you are and being comfortable with yourself in all aspects of your life.”
Dallas knew from an early age that he wanted to be on TV and a anchor/reporter. He started first doing radio then moved to TV news and he was only 23. He worked in Bakersfield, CA; Beaumont, TX; Naples-Fort Myers, FL and Dallas, TX. He would win two Emmy nominations while in Dallas and several regional awards. Between all of this he managed to do some bodybuilding and competed, and if you saw him in person you could see why.
He would end his newscaster career while working in Florida, it was explained that people didn’t seem to like him. But he is very open that he thought that it could have been because he was openly gay and working in a very conservative part of the country. “You have to understand they (Producers) have you by the balls, literally and I was tired of it,” he stated. I got the feeling he really wanted to live his life on his own terms. To get rid of the unrealistic expectations that being in the news business placed on him.
He would move back to Michigan where his partner lived, the two had been commuting just about every weekend. They would then make the move to Dallas, TX where Dallas lives today. It would be there that his life would be altered in ways he never imaged. His partner would die from an “accidental overdose”, out of respect to Dallas I’m not going to go any further. As we spoke of his partner you can still see it has a profound effect on him, and that he still thinks of him.
It was at the encouragement of a friend (Dallas was bartending at the time) that he should apply to do porn. Dallas took a chance and applied with both Colt and Titan, considering Dallas secretly always wanted to do porn he thought why not “it’s something I’ve always thought about doing,” he stated. Both studios within a week would contact him. His first job would be with director Kristopher Weston of Colt, and his very first scene was a solo and outside.
His first shoot was with Dirk Caber for Titan Men. “It was my first, while I was nervous and it might show, I don’t regret the scene and I look at it proudly.” He knows that in order to create an amazing scene it’s all about the individual(s) he’s with. Dallas looks at it this way, “it’s all about whom I’m with, they are the most important person in my life at that moment and that makes an incredible scene.”
With regards to escorting there doesn’t seem to be any sign of embarrassment when talking about it. I didn’t probe into this aspect of his life because if you want to know more….I’ll leave it at that!
I get the impression that Dallas isn’t ashamed of what he does, either porn or escorting. ”Having a great body doesn’t make me better than anyone else,” and “you can’t win to lose, there will always be someone that doesn’t like what you’re doing.” Either way, I was impressed with him, his laid-back attitude and his approach to life.
